Even though our realities have changed in the current moment, I've still found myself finding excitement about what's ahead. To be honest there have been days where I feel like I've lost my way during the quarantine, I'm so used to attending events and being a social butterly. The last month or two has allowed me to re-evaluate what I enjoy so I was beyond thrilled to receive the new Jordan Women's Moto Collection in the mail. It literally inspired me to go out and produce some content, safely ofcourse. It was also cool because I had a chance to be apart of their first women's collection and it felt good to be able to rock some pieces from the newest one.
I wrote about this collection back in April and said that it was "vibrant, playful and functional" and I'm able to confirm that the collection is just that. The collection overall takes inspiration from Michael Jordan's motorcycle racing team and its graphics. You're going to stand out in this collection, it's for the fearless woman. So I took a few pieces that was gifted to me from Jordan Brand (thank ya'll) and hit the Westside streets to show ya'll how I would put it together.
The Jordan Moto Women's Short-Sleeve Top is one of my favorite pieces from the collection because it is so bold and can be effortless to style and is forgiving. It's made of a lighweight fabric and you can button it up or leave it open like I did. I wore it with a white Nike sportsbra from my previous Nike lookbook and paired it with the mens shorts from the 23 Engineered collection from last summer. Of course with a simple clean sneaker which happened to be the Jordan Women's OG.
Shout out to Des' on my favorite pair of earrings right now!
You can never go wrong with an oversized tee and this Jordan Moto Women's Oversized T-Shirt from the collection fits pretty damn good. I'm wearing a size small but the relaxed fit makes it feel like I'm wearing a medium. I paired it with the black biker shorts from the collection that has a zip pocket closure in the back which would be ideal if you were bike riding and needed to put your keys or something back there. These are a size small and fit pretty true to size. I also decided to wear my yellow bag from Coach since it was a nice contrast of color! This is something I would wear on the daily to the store, the bar, shopping, chilling with friends, basically any occasion.
The collection is versatile and can easily be paired with other pieces in your wardrobe and that's what I appreciate the most about it. There's the side that colorful but they also give you that same piece in black and white. What's your favorite from the collecttion? Let me know!
