We witnessed the excitement when the Women’s Jordan OG made its return back in January now it’s getting its first collaboration with Melody Ehsani. While Melody teased sneaker lovers online about what sneaker she would be releasing next we were instantly reminded of her Air Jordan 1 Mid that sold out instantly.
“The legacy [of the Women’s Air Jordan OG] speaks for itself,” says Ehsani. “It was an exciting time in history with the inception of the WNBA and all the incredible women who were coming into the game. The shoe is really an emblem of this moment, a first in many regards.”
For Ehsani's release she's given it a bold update with black and infrared which is highlighted by a cherry detailing that symbolizes the goddess of fertility. The sneaker also features 3M piping throughout with a message found inside the tongue tab.
The Women’s Air Jordan OG SP x Melody Ehsani is available March 14 at the Melody Ehsani stores in Los Angeles and New York City. The shoe will be available March 19 on Jordan.com and at select retailers.
