Vans is launching not one but two upcoming collaborations with Nickelodeon's SpongBob SquarePants and one is with a previous Vans collaborator Sandy Liang.
The first collection will include a few key pieces such as the Old Skool Checkboard that features SpongeBob and his snail Gary finished with a yellow leather Sidestrip and "Off The Wall" written in the font we're familiar with seeing on the animated series. There will also be pieces of apparel to accompany including the a short sleeve tee, Airbrush Woven long sleeve, the Best Buddies Hoodie, Jump Out Crew Tie Dye Tee and more.
For the Sandy Liang collaboration, the New York artist reinterprets iconic elements from the show providing a more fashion forward take on the porous creature.
The collection will include two iterations of the Sk8-Hi 38 DX. One sneaker features the flower cloud sky and groovy patterns from the show while the other pays homage to our girl from Texas Sandy Cheeks. The sneaker features a blue-green gradient with the flower appliques that are reminiscent of the flower on top of Sandy's suit. Liang's collection will also inclide a three-piece apparel and accessories.
