This post is strictly for my ladies. For me it's important that my shoes are comfortable and that the sneaker doesn't make my feet look huge. I don't mind the bulk sometimes but when I look down at my feet I don't want to feel like I'm walking around in a pair of Sky Davis'. I also made this post because ladies there are more sneakers in the Jordan family that are dope besides the Air Jordan 1. I know, I know we all love the 1 because who wouldn't? It's sleek, the sole is flat, and it comes in some dope colorways that are undeniable. But, today we're changing it up and giving you guys something new. Here are five Jordan silhouettes that you can easily add to your collection.
AIR JORDAN 3
Jordan Brand recently released a women's exclusive Air Jordan 3 in the "Laser Orange" colorway and the response was better than expected. The Air Jordan 3 has always been a dope silhouette because the shoe looked amazing on people with smaller feet. The sneaker is not wide on the toe like a lot of silhouettes that come after it. I have this sneaker in both the "True Blue" and "Black Cement" colorway.
WOMEN’S AIR JORDAN OG
The Women's Air Jordan OG is an oldie but goodie that made it's return this year. This sneaker was the original women's Jordan that debuted back in 1999. The sneaker was retroed for the first time this year and the ladies ran to it for good reason. I love the sneaker because it reminds me of the Air Jordan 13 which is another favorite of mine that didn't make this specific list but the classic red, black, and white make these fire. Don't sleep. Melody Ehsani even got her own colorway.
AIR JORDAN 6
My love for the Jordan 6 started with the black "Infrared" but creators like Aleali May have continued to make this shoe one of the most sought after in the Jordan lineup. The silhouette has been touched by artists like Travis Scott and the release of the "DMP" 6 came this year during All Star Weekend in Chicago.
AIR JORDAN 4
Virigl Abloh and Union just released two new iterations of the Air Jordan 4 another favorite of mine. My favorite happens to be the "White Cement" which have started to get a great patina on them. The sneaker isn't something the ladies usually would run too but I can see that changing with Virgil's newest release. Back in 2004, I had my grandma running me around the city for find the "Cool Grey" 4 in my size. I currently have this silhouette in "Cool Grey", "Black Cement" and "White Cement."
AIR JORDAN 8
This one is definitely a sleeper. The Air Jordan 8 re-released this year in the women's exclusive colorway and they sat for months on months and even ended up on sale. If retail stores were open I'm sure we would have been able to walk right in a scoop up a pair. The Air Jordan 8 is a shoe I've always seen around my city of Chicago. It's not the most prettiest but it has it's own grit to it and that's why I like it so much. They're not the easist to style but you should want a challenge every once in a while. If you grab a pair start with a pair of the black "Aqua" 8's.
