The Air Jordan ‘Defining Moments’ pack originally debuted in January of 2006. The pack was created to pay tribute to some of Michael Jordan’s greatest basketball moments. It celebrated his first and fourth championships from 1991 and 1996. The Air Jordan 6 is the model he wore during his title against the Los Angeles Lakers in ‘91 while the Air Jordan 11 celebrates the win against the Seattle Sonics in ’96. Both shoes features a gold metallic accent to signify the trophy.
However, The Air Jordan 6 will be getting it’s solo debut in the coming months. I was gifted this shoe during All Star Weekend in Chicago and it’s still a thing of beauty. I wore these with the new Jordan Women's line to a panel that I hosted with the brand. The Air Jordan 6 ‘DMP’ features an all black nubuck upper with gold accents on the tongue, Air Jordan hang tag and ’23’ on the heel in gold. The sneaker also features a beautiful icy translucent outsole.
The rumored release date for this sneaker is currently April 4, 2020.
