Images: Crime and Kindness Co
Bringing his talents back to his hometown of Chicago, Image Architect and the first CFDA Stylist award winner, Law Roach gave us a look into his collaboration with the Parisian brand Herve Leger.
As Law sat on the panel to discuss his inspiration and upbringing, he said something that touched the audience in attendance. "I'm old enough and from the era to know when Michigan Avenue and stores like this didn't feel comforting to us and the fact that now I can come back here and have a small section in this store with clothes with my name in the tags means and shows that everything and anything is possible."
The collection consists of 25 day-to-night pieces that take inspiration from the Herve Leger archive, take a look at their ready to wear from 1992. We can see the inspiration taking place in Law's collection as well from the bondage dresses and skirts.
