Happy Air Max Day! Today is a very special day to all Air Max lovers around the world. On March 26, 1987, Nike debuted its first sneaker showcasing the Swoosh’s now iconic Air technology through a side-visibility window — the Air Max 1. Here we are 33 years later still celebrating Air!
This Air Max Day is very different than the past. All the special events have been canceled due to the virus that is spreading throughout the world. I even had to adjust how I celebrated due to a few things no longer happening. But, it was a great way for me to reflect on what I've accomplished in the past. So with that said, I'm celebrating my favorite moments from Air Max Day below!

With the launch of the Nike Vapormax, I attended my first Air Max Day celebration which was called the "Sneakeasy" with Nike Chicago. The launch was in this warehouse on the westside of Chicago that had been transformed into something amazing. I had the opportunity to customize a pair of Vapormax that still haven't hit the streets till this day. That was so much fun, Air Max Day only got better from here on it.

The launch of the Air Max 270 was celebrated on the Skydeck of the Willis Tower (Sears Tower). I've never witnessed anything like this before, it was also my time at the Sears Tower so it was hell of an experience for me. There was an opportunity to customize tees, purchase things in the gift shop (I almost bought everything) and enjoy some bubble furniture, art installations and this super cool illuminated dance floor. A night I'll never forget.

This Air Max Day is the one I'm most proud of thus far. This day I had literally got off a plane from Miami, went home and got dressed and headed right downtown to Nike Chicago. I didn't know that I would end up styling the women but I knew I would be providing some creative direction. This was amazing working with the ladies and seeing them being the stars they are. This has to be a moment that was unforgettable for me and my career. Thankful to CNKDaily for providing that opportunity to showcase not only my skill but what we were able to do as a group at that time.
Even though we’re celebrating Air Max Day different this year, there’s always something to celebrate! So let me know on social how you’ll be celebrating air?
